Lomo arrigato, Mr. Roboto

Ahh Lomography. Sure you aren't digital. Sure you were formerly made in Russia. Sure you don't cost a million rubbles. Sure you take strangely appealing photos. But oh how sexy you are!

This 'fad' photography called lomography uses technology from the former Union of Soviet Socialists Republic which was bought out by an Austrian group. Now they come with wacky manuals, strange instructions, and attractive packaging. Oversaturated shots are it's hallmark, and there is a definite playfulness and fun factor involved with shooting from the hip. Here's a quick quote from the manual.
"The fisheye View the way GOLDFISH and LOMOGRAPHERS see and live life"
Gotta love it. Thanks Brother o mine for the nifty birthday gift! Now if I could only remember how to load a legacy film camera...
