Fruit Smoothie

Serves 4.

  • 1 cups plain yogurt
  • cup orange juice
  • cup pineapple or apple juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 8 whole ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Process until smooth.

Fruit Smoothie II

Serves 4.

  • 1 cup plain yogurt or ice cream
  • 2 cups seasonal fruit
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup orange or apple juice
  • (2 tbsp honey if using yogurt)
  • 8 whole ice cubes
  • pinch salt

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Process until smooth.

Hot Spiced Apple Cider

Serves 8.

  • 3 cups apple cider
  • cup honey
  • 1 whole lemon, sliced thinly
  • 7 whole cloves
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • Dash nutmeg

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently 15 minutes. Strain and serve hot or chilled.
